This year I attempted an extraordinary feat: homemade easter egg. It seems incredible to me that anyone could ever complete a job of such precision without machines. My result is a strange ellipsoid made up of two halves that barely touch each other and which stands “upright with threads” as they say in Tuscany. But it’s our Easter egg and it’s made with love. And it is “home made”, like many similar things that are malformed, defective, full of errors, and beautiful, ever more beautiful with practice. Happy Easter everyone!
BUONA PASQUA!
Quest’anno mi sono cimentata in un’impresa straordinaria: l’uovo di pasqua fatto in casa. Mi pare incredibile che chiunque sia mai potuto riuscire a completare un lavoro di tale precisione senza macchine. Il mio risultato è uno strano ellissoide composto di due metà che a fatica si toccano e che sta “ritto coi fili”, come si dice in Toscana. Però è il nostro uovo di Pasqua ed è fatto con amore. Ed è “home made”, come tante cose simili che sono malformate, difettose, piene di errori, e belle, sempre più belle con la pratica. Buona Pasqua a tutti!
