The author of this dramatic sculpture represented the now ascertained inability of Westerners to give flavor to tofu. Only Asians can do it, period. While celebrating the Western martyrs who fought with heroism, the sculpture is a clear invitation to surrender and maybe go more to Chinese, Japanese, and Thai restaurants. A small engraving on the back also discourages Westerners from opening their own restaurants serving tofu between the main dishes.

L’autore di questa drammatica scultura ha rappresentato l’ormai accertata incapacità degli occidentali di dare sapore al tofu. Ci riescono solo gli asiatici, punto. Pur celebrando i martiri occidentali che hanno combattuto con eroismo, la scultura è un chiaro invito ad arrendersi e frequentare semmai più ristoranti cinesi, giapponesi, tailandesi, etc. Una piccola incisione sul retro invita gli occidentali anche a non aprire i propri ristoranti mettendo il tofu come piatto principale.
