Beta is the latest storm arisen in the Gulf of Mexico, a future as a hurricane, perhaps. She is slow, white, and hypnotic. Thinking of those enormous, rotating clouds, that taken together are big almost as half Texas, passing just near us, is scary and exciting at the same time. Imagining the much bigger planet moving beneath Beta, and which is influencing her destiny, is deeply fascinating.

Beta è una tempesta tropicale appena nata nel Golfo del Messico, forse con un futuro da uragano. Si muove lenta, bianca e ipnotica. Pensare che le enormi nubi rotanti, prese insieme grandi quasi come mezzo Texas, stanno passano proprio accanto a casa nostra mette paura ed eccita allo stesso tempo. Immaginare il nostro pianeta, ben più grande, ruotare sotto Beta e influenzarne il destino, è profondamente affascinante.
