Here comes our friend “Patience,” strolling with Werther, his hellhound, wrapped up in one of those classic sidewalk dialogues with strangers:

“Does he bite?” — “Yes.”
“Can I pet him?” — “No.”
“Is he purebred?” — “Any less purebred and he’d be a cat.”
“What a cute little doggie!” — “Ma’am, if you’re fond of your hand, I suggest you keep walking.”
“Why do you drag him along while he’s chewing on your leg?” — “It’s just our way of playing, ha ha… ouch!”

…and on, and on, and on.

But Patience can take it—broad shoulders, steady nerves… you’ll see more of him in the next episodes!

PAZIENZA E IL CANE INFERNALE

Ecco il nostro amico “Pazienza” a passeggio con Werther, il suo cane infernale, impegnato in uno dei soliti dialoghi con sconosciuti:

“ Morde?” — “Sì.”
“ Posso accarezzarlo?” — “No.”
“ È di razza?” — “Meno di razza di così e diventa un gatto.”
“ Che bel cagnolino!” — “Signora, se ci tiene alla mano se ne vada adesso!”
“ Perchè te lo trascini dietro mentre ti addenta una gamba?” — “È il nostro modo di giocare, eh, eh… aiah!”

…etc., etc., etc.
